Illegal Inmigration what is behind this

Former US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan from Texas (1973-1979) and Chair, U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform gave testimony on February 24, 1995, before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Claims. She stated:

" To make sense about the national interest in immigration, it is necessary to make distinctions between those who obey the law, and those who violate it. Therefore, we disagree, also, with those who label our efforts to control illegal immigration as somehow inherently anti-immigrant. Unlawful immigration is unacceptable.

We believe that employer sanctions can work, but only with a reliable system for verifying authorization to work. Employers want to obey the law, but they are caught now between a rock and a hard place. The current system is based on documents. An employer must either accept those documents, knowing that they might be forged, and thus live with the vulnerability to employer sanctions for hiring someone presenting false identification.

We on the Commission believe strongly that it is in the national interest for immigrants to become citizens for the right reasons, not the wrong ones. We want immigrants to be motivated to naturalize in order to vote, to be fully participating members of our polity-to become Americans. We don't want to motivate law-abiding aliens to naturalize just so that they can get food stamps, health care, job training, or their homes tested for lead.

...deportation is crucial. Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave. The top priorities for detention and removal, of course, are criminal aliens. But for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process.

Border security must be the highest priority because if a few million illegal aliens who simply want to work in the USA can gain access then so can many hundreds of thousand illegal alien criminals who want to prey on US citizens, as well as a few hundred thousands of illegal alien sexual predators, and, of course, a few thousand illegal alien terrorists whose motive is to kill as many Americans as they can

In the meantime, we need to recognize that illegal aliens do not have the rights and privileges of American citizens. With the current exception of illegal aliens' children born in the United States, they are all lawbreakers and many are taking advantage of services provided to citizens, making them not much different than common thieves. They are owed nothing and should not be treated differently than any other criminal that is taking things that do not belong to them.

The fact that most come to the US illegally for economic reasons does not change the fact that they violated the sovereignty of the United States and jumped ahead of all the millions who are following our immigration laws. Americans play by the rules. Few of us would tolerate a line jumper if we are waiting in a queue to buy concert tickets so why should we allow it for illegal aliens?

My conclusion: It is a vasted topic, that has 2 sides , i feel sometimes after reading and listening many opinions about this issue the illegal inmigrants fault comes from mexicans , from the people who needs to get new opportunity ,new life as many people of the world

but why mexican people are able to get into US in illegal ways ? who is responsible about this , is it only the ones who escape and get through over the border controls ?

the answer to this question is no, there are some organizations that work in this issue with this purpose to get this people illegally , so this is the way to have the power on their lives , this organizations that are not mentioned in the huge research about this topic , there are no names addressed which allow this happens . Having the power of their lives , it is the way they will do everything to stay in the promised land , there it is involved since normal and decent jobs , till criminal jobs .

it is known they are stucked in the land of nowhere to claim to be supported even if they want to come back to their country , we cant be blind there is a huge corruption system that is more powerful than the simple illegal inmigration ..

if you want to travel to United States you need certain documentation that the embassy is responsible to give you the Visa , and you have a period to stay , this is what happen with all other countries , why Mexico is the exception , what is behind this ?

When it is referred and known many corporations hire this illegal people , they are more responsible that themselves , i dont think that big corporations , could hire them without making all the research they do onto their profiles , so just in case that some companies chose to infringe the law hiring illegal people are who has to be audited , and punnished as well ,economically and commercial , they are illegal as well , no matter the excuses of cheap labour , it is not the point

Cleanning the corruption system is hard work to do , than claim , protest and guilt to may be many innocent people , the solution is like any other person from other country has the same rights and same obligations , so this will balance an issue that is not only called illegal inmigration.

A country like US , has not way to excuse they cant control the borders , when they got all the technologies and satellital innovations , the most militar power of the world , that can watch out over any country of the world , so it is not acceptable they cant control their own borderline.

The solution is easier than all media , political debates spend in this, as much as the goverment take the action to do the right decisions benefit not only americans also to mexican people that their goverment has to take care of them , because when also they are discriminated and there are many decent and brilliant people who needs to grow up an enviroment according to develop skills .Poverty is installed in all countries this is not a reason to cross the border .

And as the standards of inmigration of United States , should be remember that United States is a country of Inmigrants , that specially from WWI and WWII ,,, i dont think every inmigrant has the according ruled papers to be in , to stay , but they built this big country .

like a known statement : Never forget where you come from , this is the esence of life that you can do better or worst , it depends on your will .
